I loved the lead lady's facial expression in the trailer, so I clicked 'Play' to watch the movie.  The storyline goes like this:  Amrita and Varun are happily married. Varun gets a senior role in London. The couple had been waiting to relocate to London. When the news of the promotion and the role officially came in Varun throws a party for a close circle of 40 people - professional and personal. The evening was fun-filled which directly translates to drinks, dance, food, and networking. The boss quietly tells Varun that the offer has been passed on to someone else, and Varun is going to stay in India. I went to watch the movie URI in a theatre after a long time, with the little pre-cursor that the site Bookmyshow offered and the reviews were very good too.  Congratulations to the awesome movie crew for making the movie as grand a success as it is. The Hindi movie, 'Yeh Dil Hai Mushkil' was a total chance click on one late night movie time. After quite a while, I sat for a Karan Johar movie. I have not been watching too many movies so I don't know if the industry has got some changes in thinking like my own mind has, but I can say that I saw this movie from a different perspective than what I saw on the screen. All thanks to my friend who suggested  very old English movie called 12 Angry Men. The movie is dated 1957. It is a short movie about twelve people talking about a case inside a small room around a discussion table. Liked it for many reasons, the primary one being I have not watched too many English movies over the years plus Never seen a very dialog-packed movie in a very long time. This is a malayalam movie directed by Hariharan. Probably everyone in Kerala would have watched this many times. I got a chance to watch this movie yesterday. Brilliant make - a nice mix of psychology and music. I could identify, Vineeth, Renuka, Thilagan, and Nedumudi Venu in the movie. I wouldnt know the rest of the stars but I must say the movie has been done very well and is set in the late seventies or so it seems. Or may be the nineties itself. I would not know such a set up because I grew up in Tamil Nadu. The whole movie has been shot in a bungalow of old times. They call it Kovilagam which seems to mean Temple. I assume that the ancestors of this family had once been very rich and provided for the families working for them and lived a kingly life with great taste towards traditional arts. This movie is about drug mafia and its impact on the younger generation and the society at large. Everyone, just about everyone in the movie has a hand in the drug mafia voluntarily or involuntarily. The ACP Vishnu Kamat is posted in this particular place to eradicate the evil of drug mafia. This officer had once bent a lot of rules and regulations for the drugsters until one fine day, a car accident in which his wife and child reaches God's abode changes his life for good. I do not know any of the cast of the movie. All I know is that it is a 'Kalaipuli' Thanu movie. The only star I recognized was Kasthuri. I also recongnized some faces but dont know their names. Just watched this movie called Notebook, a Malayalam movie. I am well past the teen age, so I guess I am able to understand a lot about this movie, so much so that I am tempted to write about it immediately. There are a lot of analysis points here and there in the movie that the schools and parents and the students need to notice. I watched this Malayalam movie called Sufi Paranja Katha.I really do not know how to review this movie, but I wanted to put across my observations any way. The beginning of the movie increases your curiosity about the story line and I guess sets very high expectations. Yes, you are right.. It is the name of an early 2007 movie and this is a late review.. I loved Illayaraja's music for the theme song "Cheeni Kam..
